# Namedrop documentation

Start with a free scan or read the sample report. A full diagnostic requires an account and information about the brand, competitors and keywords.

## Public flow

The homepage form accepts a URL and email address. The result has a scan ID; it shows progress followed by observed mentions and score. The sample PDF is a demonstration, not a report for your site.


## Prepare a full report

Supply the brand, a safe URL, 2 to 3 competitors, one main keyword, up to 5 supporting keywords and a language. Creation can be refused if the plan quota is reached or a job is already in progress.


## Agent access

Public pages and blog articles can be read without an account. The public NLWeb /ask endpoint searches only this corpus and returns sourced JSON or SSE. The read-only MCP endpoint /mcp/docs exposes the same published documentation to compatible clients. Report and billing functions require authentication and owner permissions.
