# How Namedrop measures AI visibility

Source : https://getnamedrop.ai/en/methodology

A Namedrop score describes answers obtained during a scan. It does not measure all model training or guarantee placement in future answers.

## Inputs and collection

The public scan starts with the submitted URL and accessible website content. It derives brand context, asks discovery questions of four providers and records mentions and other cited brands.

The full report also uses the brand, competitors, keywords and language supplied or confirmed by the user. The engine asks several questions per provider and analyzes the resulting answers.

## Score and diagnostic

The public scan combines its observations into a score out of 100; the full report assembles engine-level results, factor analysis and recommendations. The scores of these two formats are not interchangeable: their inputs and depth differ.

Engine-level detail and report date help interpret the score. A missing mention in the tested answers does not prove that the brand is never cited elsewhere.

## Variability and data

AI answers are probabilistic and their sources evolve. A later scan may therefore produce a different result. The report helps prioritize actions without guaranteeing rankings, traffic or revenue.

Do not submit secrets or confidential content in analysis fields. The privacy policy explains data sent to providers and how it is used.
